Aims

The aims of the society are:

1) To generate and enhance public interest in all aspects of the history of the town of Folkestone and the surrounding district.

2) To promote the above purpose by arranging a series of lectures and talks throughout the year, together with exhibitions and outings, and by producing for sale other publications (for example, newsletters, DVDs and booklets) that help to provide background for local history research.

3) The Society also actively supports other similar local voluntary organisations who seek to promote the history of the town of Folkestone and the surrounding district.
